CPS Corp., a sister company of INX International, has been accepted into the National Environmental Performance Program.
Run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), this program recognizes organizations like CPS for their ongoing support efforts to protect the environment.
“As a new member of a high-quality group of facilities across the country, CPS is being recognized for its impressive record of environmental management and performance and for its commitment to continuous environmental improvement,” said EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman.
She added “true environmental protection is a team effort,” and every small action taken by the CPS facility team “contributes both to business success and broader goals of improving the quality of life in the workplace and the community.”
“It’s a great honor for us,” said Kevin Cochran the firm’s environmental/safety manager. Mr. Cochran serves as management representative for the Environmental Health and Safety/ISO 14001.
