Ann Michaud of 3M and Hank Welter of Tc Transcontinental Packaging are the official chair and co-chair, respectively, for Forum 2019 – which takes place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel from May 5-8 – the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) said.
Michaud co-chaired Forum 2018 in Indianapolis, IN, where she helped bring in more than 1,700 attendees from around the world to hear about the latest innovations in the package printing and converting industry.
A distinguished member of FTA for more than 20 years, Welter has been active serving as a speaker at past events and as a Board member from 2011-2018. Welter will serve as Forum chair in 2020.
“The Forum 2019 leadership committee is already actively preparing for the event,” Michaud said. “We are excited about bringing together another talented group of industry experts to create what we hope to be a valuable agenda for all printers and industry members. Hank, our 2019 co-chair, brings a wealth of industry experience to the team. Forum 2019 will be another great opportunity to learn, share experiences and network with our industry colleagues.”
Planning is also well underway for INFOFLEX, the trade show co-located with Forum. The show floor will be open from May 6-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
While the event is already 70% sold, turnkey booths are still available. Contact Jay Kaible, FTA director of membership and business development, at 631-737-6020 ext. 120 for more information.
