For 2017, Crown Aerosols & Specialty Packaging Europe has been engaged by several of its longstanding customers to create brand new Christmas-themed tins and the results have been as glittering and impressive as the decorations on the tree.
McVitie’s biscuit selection has literally created a Christmas tree of biscuits, with its wide variety of delicious offerings making up the baubles set on a background of snowflakes. Quality Street has commissioned a series of three tins, which focuses on festive and family activities - ice skating on the village pond, a family holding hands on a snow-covered street, and a traditional family home as seen through the window as the snow comes down. Finally, Walkers shortbread have chosen an ‘Old Saint Nick’ theme, as father Christmas himself is pictured trimming his tree and tending his reindeer on tins of Festive Shapes.
Crown Aerosols & Specialty Packaging Europe understands the importance of specialty packaging at this time of year, and dedicates a great deal of time to achieving the best results for its customers well ahead of the festive season.
There are many benefits associated with packing festive products inside tins. Metal packaging blocks light and oxygen, helping make those treats last a little bit longer. In addition, if the tin is not needed for storage in the New Year, its 100% recyclability means it may be used several more times in various metal packaging guises before the next festive season comes around.
