Flint Group will show its latest development in corrugated inks, plates and die-cutting at TAPPI’s CorrExpo 2017, Oct. 17-18 in Providence, RI.
Flint Group experts will be on-hand to discuss the company’s Corrugated Post Print Toolbox, fluting-reducing digital plates, quick-install die-cutting blankets, and anvil covers, as well as selecting inks. Developed through a focused collaboration with leading raw material suppliers and machine manufacturers, the toolbox includes a full range of post print corrugated inks, including industry-tested PremoNova and PremoCorr, with an extremely large operating window and outstanding transfer.
The inks also substantially reduce and/or eliminate the need for skip feeding, reduce board crush, improve print fidelity, and enable converters to reduce variable costs through waste reduction and increased throughput. In addition, the PremoNova suite of products provides regulatory peace of mind, the company reported.
At CorrExpo, Flint Group will display samples of its recently launched nyloflex FTC Digital plate for corrugated post print. This inherently flat top flexographic plate significantly reduces fluting and offers outstanding print quality on a variety of substrates, from high- to low-quality liners, the company noted. The nyloflex FTC Digital plate offers quicker press set-up, resulting in increased productivity, faster start-ups, reduced waste, and cost savings.
dayCorr-brand experts will represent their full product line of die-cutting blankets and anvil covers, built to reduce installation time and streamline rotation. Also on display at Flint Group’s CorrExpo booth are dayCorr-brand anvil covers.
