Mimaki will be attending two industry events during October 2017. As a partner sponsor at Luxepack Monaco (Oct. 2-4), Mimaki will be showing the ability to print directly on luxury items such as perfume bottles, as well as solutions for producing other types of luxury packaging. AtPrint in Progress in Paris (Oct. 11-12), the company (stand E18) will participate in two hubs: Industrial Printer and Textile Transformer.
“At Luxepack, visitors will be able to experience printing directly on luxury cylindrical items like perfume bottles, and create exceptional high-end packaging and prototypes on demand,” said Ronald van den Broek, GM sales at Mimaki Europe. “We will also display examples of 3D objects produced by our newly launched 3D printer, the 3DUJ-553. We believe that this printer will stimulate lots of ideas for prototyping, sample making and more.
“At Print in Progress, participants will be among the first to see two brand new printers that bring ground breaking capabilities to wide format printing for the sign and display graphics market. Next to that, we’ll showcase examples of printing direct to textiles using Mimaki printing solutions,” he added.
Visitors to the Mimaki stand at Luxepack will see:
•The Mimaki UJF-3042MkII EX, a UV flatbed printer that combines four steps into one, delivering the ability to place primer for strong ink adhesion, two hits of white ink for high print opacity, full color CMYK printing and a clear print surface treatment, all in one operation.
•Samples showing a fresh approach to 3D printing produced with the Mimaki 3DUJ-553 UV LED printing solution, the world’s first full-color 3D printer enabling the production of color-realistic signs, prototypes, parts, products and other 3D printed applications that eliminate the need for time-consuming hand painting of 3D printed objects.
Mimaki will be participating in two hubs at Print in Progress: •In the Industrial Printer hub, Mimaki will show the UJF-3042MkII EX, focusing on packaging and printing on perfume bottles, perfume packaging and packaging samples.
•In the Textile Transformer hub, Mimaki will be showing a selection of samples created using different textile printing technologies, such as sublimation transfer printing and direct-to-textile printing using various inks, including sublimation and pigment inks.
