KBA North America, which turns 200 on Sept. 21, said it will offer an interactive product demonstration – as well as food and drink – from its booth at the PRINT 17 exhibition and conference in Chicago.
According to the company’s President and CEO, Mark Hischar, attendees will “find print solutions among [KBA’s] latest press technologies”for the commercial, folding carton and packaging markets.”
And if they’re so inclined, attendees can also “sit in our comfortable booth for some homemade brats and German beer,”Hischar added.
KBA Sales Director of Digital Solutions, Maik Laubin, will discuss the company’s entry into digital sheetfed printing for the folding carton market.
According to Hischar, the subject of discussion will be the KBA VariJET 106 hybrid sheetfed inkjet press, which permits the combination of conventional printing and finishing technologies with digital inkjet printing.
The VariJet, per the CEO, can be configured with up to seven inkjet colors and offers speeds up to 4,500 sph in 29.5 x 41.7 inches.
