Constantia Flexibles Group has invested in new printing technology at its manufacturing site in Louvain, Belgium, for the pharmaceutical packaging industry.
A new four-color UV flexo press will start full production in the second quarter of 2017, supporting customers with small- to medium-sized batches. At the same time, the new technology lowers solvent emissions significantly, increases print capacity and caters to new product areas.
“We are delighted that this update in technology strengthens our sustainable outlook on doing business and signals the introduction of more UV presses for Louvain in the future,” said Pierre-Henri Bruchon, EVP of the Pharma Division.
