HP Inc. announced that Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc., an award-winning producer of print, digital imaging, multimedia, wide-format graphics and graphic displays, has installed the HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press in New York City. The press is the only B2-format HP Indigo digital press in Manhattan and the first commercially released HP Indigo 12000 installed in the U.S.
The HP Indigo 12000 offers production speeds up to 4,600 20x29-inch sheets per hour, high-definition printing, plus 7-color capability, including HP Indigo ElectroInk White and Fluorescent Inks. Installing this press in Manhattan at 29 W. 23rd St. allows Duggal to provide an unprecedented application range and just-in-time production capabilities to leading creative agencies, designers and brands.
Duggal will use the HP Indigo 12000 for synthetics, canvas, window clings, metalized and colored substrates, as well as print on non-certified substrates with HP Indigo ElectroInk Primer. The HP Indigo 12000 also expands Duggal’s production volume in commercial printing applications, such as point-of-sale graphics, brochures, books, catalogs and display applications.
Since its incorporation in 1963, Duggal has attracted a clientele including Fortune 500 companies, luxury brands, fashion retailers, museums, galleries, designers and photographers.
