A double-digit annual growth in sales and international recognition by winning awards has confirmed that Label’Or has chosen the right strategy by investing in digital technology. In June, the company added two prestigious awards to their list. Label’Or won the awards at the annual congress of FINAT, the international association of label manufacturers. They won the first prize in “dry toner digital printing” for a label produced on transparent material. They also won the first overall prize in digital printing.
Label’Or is based in Lontzen, Belgium and specializes in the manufacturing and printing of self-adhesive labels on rolls. Soon after their first investment in a Xeikon 3300 five color digital press, the demand for small runs and variable output was effectively met by using the new technology. The quick return on investment made it possible to invest in a second Xeikon 3300, which was followed by a third Xeikon press last year, the Xeikon CX3.
“Today, more than half of all productions at Label’Or is digital,” Jean-Marie Peters, founder of Label’Or, said. “The quality easily meets the high standards of their clients and they can offer the renowned benefits of Xeikon label presses, including the use of dry toners that meet FDA regulations for food contact and the ability to print opaque white toner in one pass.”
