Greif, a global leader in industrial packaging products and services, announces the completion of a major capital improvement to its steel drum paint line at its Warminster, PA facility.
The new paint line for the steel drum plant in Warminster, PA will become operational by late September. This multi-million dollar state-of-the-art paint line was internally designed by Mike Morrison, regional engineering manager and Mike Cooper, senior system integrator, along with others.
“This project was a team effort, which enabled us to consider the environmental requirements and physical constraints of the plant,” said Morrison. “We were able to optimize the drum transport system and the filtration and air movement systems within the paint booth. The design allows for ease of use for the operators, intuitive adjustments, quick changeovers, effective cleanup and ease of maintenance.”
