Quad/Graphics expanded its executive leadership team to support its ongoing transformation as an innovator of new, complementary products and marketing services. Eric Ashworth has been promoted to executive VP of product solutions and market strategy
“It’s clear that the world of marketing continues to be upended by technology,” said Joel Quadracci, chairman, president and CEO of Quad/Graphics. “Today’s consumers are in control of when and how they engage with content across a growing number of media channels. This has created a crisis of measurement for many of our clients on how to optimize their marketing spend to break through the clutter, engage with the end user, and increase response and loyalty.
‘By the same token, this has created an opportunity for both Quad and our clients to innovate marketing approaches in bold, new ways that create value, such as connecting the power of print with mobile technologies to extend content,” Quadracci added. “We are focused on innovative offerings that help our clients improve their performance, and have promoted Eric Ashworth to help us create and advance strategies that support our path forward.”
Ashworth has more than 25 years in business. Before joining Quad/Graphics in 2015, he was president of SGK Inc. (parent company of Anthem Worldwide, BrandImage and Schawk!). He joined SGK in 2003 and held positions as chief strategy officer and chief growth officer before becoming president in 2012. Previously, Ashworth and two colleagues founded BlueMint Associates, a next-gen integrated marketing services startup that was acquired by SGK. Ashworth also has served in various marketing roles with companies including Colgate-Palmolive, The Clorox Corp. and Levi Strauss & Co.
Ashworth maintains his role as president of BlueSoho, a business that helps clients coordinate complex cross-media programs, turning shoppers into buyers and buyers into loyal brand advocates through marketing services that include campaign development, shopper activation, and mobile and digital programming.
