Electronics For Imaging (EFI) is showcasing its portfolio responsible for driving its customers’ continued success in China, exhibiting new print technologies at the Shanghai International AD & Sign Expo and at a customer open house to introduce print professionals to the new regional EFI Customer Experience Centre.
EFI’s exhibit at the March 9-12 exhibition is in hall 3, stand A-0275, and includes the first showing in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region of the 3.2-meter EFI VUTEk LX3 Pro hybrid roll/flatbed LED inkjet printer, a device that is a leading production-class LED inkjet graphics printer with fast throughput of up to 3420 square feet per hour.
EFI Reggiani print samples also are on display at the exhibition, highlighting the important new opportunities printing companies can capture using digital textile printing as a cost-effective, eco-friendly alternative to other textile imaging processes.
EFI is also showing for the first time in the region the EFI H1625-SD, an entry-level, 1.65-meter UV hybrid production printer that uses award-winning EFI SuperDraw UV ink for near-photographic imaging direct to thermoformable substrates.
Another new product, the EFI Matan 8QW printer, is being shown in China for the first time. It is an advanced roll-to-roll inkjet product that gives users the ability to create beautiful images for indoor and outdoor applications with patented, seven-color Parallel Drop Size technology and white printing.
“EFI customers in China are constantly redefining the ways our inkjet technologies can help develop new services and drive growth for printing companies,” said Stephen Green, EFI’s APAC VP of sales. “EFI is again demonstrating its strong commitment to this region, with increased technology and infrastructure investments, as well as new product launches. This is a vital market for us.”
A short distance away from the exhibition, EFI is also hosting printers at a March 8-12 open house to introduce the industry to its new APAC regional headquarters and Customer Experience Centre in Shanghai.
The new facility, located in the Caohejing Pujiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai’s MinHang District, features many of EFI’s top technologies for printing companies, including 2-, 3.2- and 5-meter EFI VUTEk HS and GS series printers, new EFI SuperRange ink for high-end, out-of-home and display roll-to-roll applications, and the top-selling EFI H1625 LED 1.65-meter hybrid roll/flatbed printer.
The Customer Experience Centre and the Shanghai AD & Sign Expo both have sample displays of EFI’s high-quality Cretaprint and Reggiani print offerings, which are among the top digital production platforms for the APAC region’s important ceramic tile and industrial textile industries.
