With the introduction of Novavit F 1000 WIN BIO, Flint Group Sheetfed’s commitment to exceed expectations is demonstrated with a long list of features that helps commercial printers improve quality, extend wash intervals for blankets and impression cylinders and reduce start-up wastage, all of which reduces cost per print.
“We were looking to develop a product that would tick a number of boxes for large, high speed, high quality commercial printers” said Hans Roesch, head of Technical Service Center, Sheetfed Commercial EMEA. “We wanted to offer a very flexible product to print shops with modern high speed presses, who need a low misting, very fast setting ink with low tack that can bring high quality to a wide range of paper grades, even picking sensitive stock.
“At the same time, extending wash intervals and reducing start-up waste was one of our top priorities in developing this new ink series, and we also wanted high color strength with excellent rub resistance and supreme process stability,” Roesch added. “Novavit F 1000 WIN BIO has all of these and more thanks to an innovative bio-based binder system that we developed, which also delivers very good ink-water balance from start-up.”
During the field testing stage, more than 10 print shops across Europe put Novavit F 1000 WIN BIO through its paces and every one of them gave very positive feedback, with several successfully gaining ISO 12647-2:2004 certification using the product.
