Canon Solutions America, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A., Inc., will showcase its latest large format print solutions, specially designed for the display graphics market, during the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s SGIA Expo 2015. The industry-wide event will take place in Atlanta, GA, Nov. 4-6, 2015.
“The event comes at an especially important time for Canon Solutions America as we will be introducing our newest large format dye-sublimation printers and finishing solutions during the event,” said Sal Sheikh, VP, marketing, Large Format Solutions, Canon Solutions America.
Canon Solutions America will showcase the Océ ColorWave 700 printing system, released earlier this year, which offers an expansive range of applications with media versatility for posters, roll up banners, disposable POP canvas, wallpaper and more.
Also to be featured is Canon’s next-generation and newly launched Océ ColorWave 910 large format printing system. As the successor to the Océ ColorWave 900, this new single pass inkjet printer is poised to deliver best-in-class functionality and performance to the high-volume print market.
“This event serves as a great platform for us to introduce and demonstrate some of our newest technologies for the evolving graphics market,” added Robert Reddy, SVP, operations, Large Format Solutions, Canon Solutions America. “These latest additions to our portfolio can help companies of all sizes reach new efficiencies and develop cutting-edge print solutions.”
Following the recent announcement that Canon Solutions America will partner with Media One Digital Imaging Solutions, LLC to provide textile printing solutions to the US market, this year’s booth will highlight the introduction of the d.gen Teleios Grande G5 printer as the initial offering of the new agreement. Canon Solutions America will also begin offering the d.gen brand of large format dye-sublimation inkjet printers and textiles by a.berger, as well as new finishing solutions, and will showcase some of these enhancements in Atlanta.
