Sun Chemical was recognized by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) for its 65 years of continuous membership with the organization.
“We are honored to be recognized for the longevity of our membership with the SGIA,” said Charlie Murray, president of North American Inks, Sun Chemical. “The SGIA is a powerful resource for the digital and screen printing community and we’re grateful for the many opportunities over the years to participate in meaningful SGIA studies and projects that have benefited the industry. This recognition also speaks volumes about Sun Chemical’s leadership in the screen and digital printing markets.”
Sun Chemical offers a wide range of products in the screen and digital printing markets, including its Streamline range of solvent-based inkjet inks and SunVetro family of organic screen inks specifically formulated for glass.
Designed specifically for use in wide format printers that use high-quality solvent-based inks, Streamline inkjet inks offer the same level of quality, performance and color integrity as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality printing, but at a much lower cost.
Streamline inkjet inks provide a solution for large format display advertising, including billboards, vinyl banners, and vehicle/building wraps. Streamline inks allow print providers to use their existing printer settings when converting from the OEM inks.
SunVetro organic UV screen inks allow brand owners to decorate their glass and ceramic packaging with bright, vibrant effects that can liven up the shelf presence. Organic inks, coatings and sprays significantly expand the color gamut and meet the current industry regulations regarding heavy metals and VOCs.
Sun Chemical’s SunVetro VTGL series of UV screen inks are a two-component system designed for printing onto glass, coated metals, and ceramics, as well as mirroring applications.
