PT Hutchins (PTH), a KODA Distribution Group company, has announced the hiring of J. Patrick Lancaster as its new vice president of sales and the creation of a new, strategic technical manager position.
Lancaster joins PTH with a wealth of sales management experience and industry knowledge. He comes from BASF Construction Chemicals Division, where he was a regional business manager. Prior to that, Lancaster worked in the Urethanes Division at BASF as well as at Wacker Chemical Corporation in the Silicones Division.
“Pat brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the CASE industry, which will strengthen our sales group and help us continue to grow our business,” said Doug Kercher, president of PT Hutchins.
In addition, PT Hutchins has created a new position, key account technical manager, which will be headed up by Scott Shier.
“His incredible depth of knowledge in our product lines, our customers and their applications make this position tailor made for Scott,”: Kercher said. “In this newly created role, Scott will use his expertise to be 100% focused on helping our sales force grow business at their accounts, plus at some key accounts of his own. This position facilitates additional time and expertise in the field, which isn’t as possible by a traditional sales management role.”
