The mobile version of the website automatically detects a device’s screen size and is automatically designed to fit that platform.
“When we redesigned the website last year, we knew our customers would like the design and appreciate the information that we provided,” said Felipe Mellado, chief marketing officer, Sun Chemical. “Knowing that our customers are increasingly using more mobile devices, we knew it would be important to optimize the site for mobile capability. We are hopeful that our customers can use our website on whatever device they are using to help them discover solutions to address their business needs.”
The new website launched in October 2013 features improved search capability, allowing customers to search for solutions – including products and services – that are designed to work in various market segments and for many customer applications.
In addition to improved functionality and increased search capability, it is the first time Sun Chemical has included an “innovation” section on its website. The section highlights a variety of new products and services that Sun Chemical offers ranging from electronic materials, special effect coatings and low migration inks to brand protection and brand color management.
The new site also helps to keep customers informed about developments of interest to them with the use of white papers and videos, and provides up to date information on where to find Sun Chemical at upcoming trade shows and speaking engagements.
