The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership’s Board of Directors convened a meeting in December 2013 and discussed a two-year strategic plan. The plan concluded that SGP would greatly benefit from the leadership of an executive director. As a result, the board announced that Martine Padilla has been selected to fill that position. An original stakeholder and past board member of SGP, Padilla brings to this position a genuine passion for advancing sustainability best practices within the printing industry. Padilla’s industry experiences spans 30 years of print sales and operations, to agency and corporate purchasing of printed materials.
“I am so excited for this tremendous opportunity to lead the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership into the future. SGP is already the printing industry leader of sustainability best practices. SGP printers recognize the value in their SGP certification as proven through their 93% recertification rate. Patronage by suppliers and solution providers has been amazing. Towards continuous improvement, I look forward to expanding the SGP community to include elite corporate print buyers and NGOs leaders,” said Padilla.
