In October 2013 Sun Chemical made its exhibitor debut at K, the leading international trade fair for plastics and rubber in Dusseldorf.
Sun Chemical exhibited as part of PEPSO (Printed Electronics Products and Solutions), which is dedicated to the commercialization of printed electronics and functional print, and complements Sun Chemical's extensive range of products for functional and decorative use.
"The eight-day event was very busy and we generated high quality global leads and met with both existing and new customers from a number of markets,” said Robin McMillan, European marketing manager industrial inks for Sun Chemical. "The quality of visitors was very good and we had a number of meetings with global OEMs and suppliers with interests in how print can be used not only for decoration but as part of a manufacturing process."
On its booth, which was part of an ESMA (European Specialist Manufacturers Association) pavilion, with other industry suppliers, Sun Chemical showcased ink products for a variety of sectors including automotive, high tech, plastics and electronics.
"Feedback from visitors to our stand was very positive and it was great to see new and existing customers across a range of sectors discussing how print can help their businesses," McMillan added.
