Integration Technology Ltd (ITL) and strategic partner IST METZ GmbH (IST) are embarking on a resource sharing program to expand market support in North America. Commensurate with this process, ITL is to relocate its local office and operations to IST’s facility at Bolingbroke, IL.
The move is being overseen by Elizabeth Nunes, account manager, who is transferring to ITL North America from the company’s UK headquarters near Oxford. Nunes joined ITL in 2008 and fields a broad experience of the company operations. She will supervise ITL’s North American business, pending the appointments of additional technical and business development staff for the region.
ITL has held a direct presence in the North American market since 2005, initially in Boston, and later moving to Chicago in 2007. Despite economic challenges within the region, sales director David Johnson sees growing demand for ITL/IST solutions not only in ITL’s core business in inkjet but also in new emergent markets seeking to utilize the benefits of UV LED technology, in which ITL is a global leader.
“For the past three years, ITL and IST have been developing complementary solutions offered through cooperative sales and marketing initiatives in what is becoming an effective one-stop shop that‘s being welcomed warmly by customers,” said Adrian Lockwood, managing director and CEO. “The U.S. market is one of the most dynamic and important to both companies. Sharing physical resources of administration, technical support, warehousing and R&D is a natural extension of our alliance and a strong determiner in our mutual bid to increase market share in the region."
