In conjunction with the Pacific Printing Industries Association (PPI), Kodak and Great Western Ink are presenting two customer events next month in the Pacific Northwest. During the events, Kodak will be hosting printers from the region to learn more about their business needs and talk to them about Kodak’s focus on graphic communications.

“As Kodak focuses on the future, we want to be sure our customers know that our commitment to providing solutions that drive their success is stronger than ever,” said John O’Grady, Kodak vice president and regional managing director, U.S. and Canada. “Our Gold Resellers, like Great Western Ink, play a critical role in serving many of our customers, so working with them on these events will ensure that customers see the big picture.”

The two events will take place:
• Wednesday, November 6 in Renton, WA at Downtown Harley Davidson.
• Thursday, November 7 in Portland, OR at VeloCult.

The events begin at 11:30 a.m. and include lunch, discussions, and prizes. During the event, Rick Mazur, Kodak’s director of marketing, U.S. and Canada Region, will present on the topic of “What’s Next Starts Now: The Future of Visual Communications.” He will share how Kodak’s disruptive technologies can help customers pursue sustainable growth in today’s marketplace. He will also discuss recent trends that show what print buyers and marketers are looking for in new digital marketing partners. Solutions from Kodak will be highlighted, including Kodak Prinergy 6 Workflow, Kodak Sonora XP Process Free Plates, Kodak Achieve Platesetter, and the Kodak NexPress Gold Solution. “This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Kodak. Great Western Ink has been in the Pacific Northwest for more than 90 years, and these events give us an opportunity to show our great print community how Kodak is engaged, focused and positioned to help us thrive in the dynamic world of printing,” noted Keith Voigt, president of Great Western Ink. “It’s an honor to be a Kodak Gold Reseller and be able to offer the products, people and innovations our print customers need to sustain growth well into the future.”

Great Western Ink, a Gold Reseller of Kodak Solutions in the U.S., is a co-sponsor of the events. Based in Portland, OR with additional offices in Washington and California, Great Western Ink has been providing ink solutions and printing supplies to clients since 1925.
