Held on Nov. 6-7, Uteco will start the open house with a presentation at 10:30 a.m., followed by a press demonstration using Sun Chemical SunStrato Sunester packaging lamination printing inks.
Created specifically for printing on treated, coated, and polyvinylidene chloride coated polyester films, SunStrato Sunester inks are nitrocellulose-based, giving the bond performance and high color strength desired by printers without the concerns of a urethane-based system.
Frequently used on pouches, dry food packaging, cooked food packaging and confectionary packaging, SunStrato Sunester inks are also formulated to ensure low solvent retentions in order to eliminate concerns for odor or migration.
“We are pleased to support Uteco with their customer demonstrations and trial runs using our Sunester ink system. It is a partnership we look forward to continuing for many more years to come,” said Brendan Maunsell, regional sales manager, North American Inks, Sun Chemical. “We see this open house as a great opportunity to showcase the wide range of capabilities of our flexographic printing inks and explain how we can help meet the individual needs and printing requirements of our customers and prospects.”
Uteco anticipates approximately 150-200 customers to attend the open house.
