INX International Ink Co. conducted an international partners and distributors meeting during the Print 13 conference. The two-day session was attended by nearly 30 international partners representing 12 countries.
After attending the show on Sept. 9-10, international guests gathered for a general global meeting and heard various presentations from several INX executives at the R&D facility in West Chicago on Sept. 11-12. Several guests also toured INX facilities in Charlotte, NC and Edwardsville, KS on Sept. 13.
Jonathan Ellaby, vice president of international operations, welcomed the international guests on Sept. 11 with an overview on the company’s recent developments. Updates on flexible packaging and solvent-based inks, 3-piece metal decorating and water-based inks, followed. Presentations on UV inks, the sheefed production line and 2-piece metal decorating were delivered on Sept. 12 before Mr. Ellaby concluded the event.
“We find combining this event with the Print show is a tremendous opportunity for many of our partners,” said Mr. Ellaby. “It’s a great incentive for them to visit Chicago and have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with our team of specialists and technical service group. Several people also had the chance to travel to our other facilities for a close-up look at everything that is taking place within the company.”
