This afternoon ultraviolet-curing systems that incorporate light emitting diodes (UV-LEDs) and applications utilizing UV-LED technology will be the focus of an end user session, which will be held 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
The use of UV-LEDs continues to gain momentum as technological advancement and implementation continues to increase in this field opening the door to more applications.
Today’s talks will explore this segment from various angles. The first talk will cover “Basics of UV LED,” and will be presented by Jennifer Heathcote of Integration Technology Ltd.
Next up is the first of two talks about the fast growing area of “UV LEDs in Digital Inks,” which will be explored by Rick Slagle of Heraeus.
“Photoinitiator Selection,” will be covered by Beth Rundlett of DSM followed by the second session on “UV LEDs in Digital Inks,” presented by Nidal Abbas of Lumen Dynamics.
The last two talks will focus on “Measurement,” to be presented by a representative of EIT Inc., and lastly “Chemistry,” will be explained by Cytec’s JoAnn Arceneaux.
