Strong Performance for Siegwerk in First Week of drupa

More than 4,000 visitors have already come by the Siegwerk stand at drupa 2008 in Duesseldorf, Germany, during the first week of the print industry’s biggest and most important trade fair. Interest was particularly high from the rapidly growing emerging markets such as China, India and South America.

The international Siegwerk team with representatives from all regions and all of the company’s business units is successfully signing up new customers and intensifying relationships with current ones, showing “Ink, Heart & Soul."

“I’m happy to say that we are able to take full advantage of the opportunities drupa presents for us,” said Siegwerk CEO Herbert Forker. “This is the ideal setting to demonstrate how our company has grown since the last drupa and to continue on this growth path – with a global footprint and dedicated staff that enable us to provide existing and potential customers with high quality products, innovative solutions and quick on-site support anywhere in the world. The response we’re getting from the market is really overwhelming.”



Siegwerk staff are signing up new customers every day, with many coming from the fast-growing emerging markets where the company is stepping up its presence with new production facilities or “Centers of Excellence” in Shanghai (China), Bhiwadi (India), and Buenos Aires (Argentina).

"We are dedicated to these markets, which is why we will also be increasing our innovation efforts in Asia with the launch there of our Global Innovation Network July 1, 2008,” Mr. Forker pointed out.
