Silberline has formed a global strategic alliance with Taizhu, one of
China’s top pearlescent pigment producers. Silberline and Taizhu will engage in joint marketing and technical cooperative programs aimed at visually enhancing the value of worldwide paint and coatings, inks and plastics formulations. Additionally, Silberline will represent and distribute Taizhu’s pearlescent pigments throughout the world, excluding China.
Taizhu is headquartered in Wenzhou, Jiangsu province. The company employs approximately 500 people and operates several manufacturing plants in and around Wenzhou. Taizhu also
recently announced the opening of a new, US$1.6 million manufacturing plant and R&D center in Suzhou.
“We are very excited about our new relationship with Taizhu,” said Silberline’s Glenn Kleppinger, senior vice president of global business development. “Without question, Taizhu is already the premier supplier of pearlescent pigments in China.
