DuPont appointed Glen Raven Technical Fabrics LLC, Glen Raven, NC, as a marketing partner of DuPont Artistri digital printing for textiles.
Founded in 1880 with the production of colored woven fabrics, Glen Raven has a 125-year history in textiles and is the leading supplier of fabric for flags in the U.S. today.
Glen Raven manufactures and will supply pretreated Solar Max fabric for use with DuPont Artistri. The combination of the fabric and DuPont Artistri SolarBrite ink provides superior UV resistance, durability and exceptional color penetration properties, making it ideal for the flag and outdoor fabric markets.
DuPont also appointed Georg+Otto Friedrich (GOF) of Gross-Zimmern, Germany, as a marketing partner for DuPont Artistri digital printing for textiles. GOF will offer polyester fabrics, including products with fire retardant and waterproof coatings, qualified for use with DuPont Artistri.
Established in 1950 Georg+Otto Friedrich developed from a small company of the corset and motor industry to one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of warp knitted fabrics.
DuPont also announced the appointment of Redhill Inkjet, LLC to its global sales network for DuPont Artistri digital printing for textiles.
Redhill Inkjet, Laconia, NH, will focus on the graphics arts market in North America. The company was established by Alan Barrett, a pioneer in the wide format printing industry.
