Tego Introduces Defoamer for High PVC Waterborne Systems

Tego Coating and Ink Additives has introduces Tego Foamex 855, an emulsion of a polyether siloxane copolymer containing fumed silica, for use in waterborne printing ink and architectural coating applications in the 30 percent to 60 percent PVC range. Foamex 855 will not detract from gloss and is compatible with a wide variety of waterborne resin systems including acrylic, polyurethane and styrene acrylic emulsions, water reducible polyesters and waterborne epoxy resins.
