The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) announced that it will sponsor an ink pavilion at CMM International 2005, scheduled for April 18-21 in Chicago. NAPIM members will be able to showcase all their latest products and technological advancements in a central location where more than 22,000 converters from around the world can learn about the latest ink advancements and issues.
“With the increased focus on package security and RFID solutions, ink manufacturers are playing a larger role in the package printing process,” said Jim Coleman, NAPIM’s executive director. “CMM will provide current and prospective users of ink products and processes with an opportunity to see and learn about the latest developments and trends impacting their businesses.”
Ian Johnston, president of CMM, said ink manufacturers have always been an important part of CMM with many companies historically exhibiting in larger booths throughout the show. “NAPIM’s participation provides added value to CMM attendees,” Mr. Johnston said. “Many of the more than 22,000 converting professionals who attend CMM International come to the show searching for innovative solutions and NAPIM members have resources to help them.”
