Graphics Microsystems Inc. is contributing to the latest enhancements underway within the graphic communications program at Rochester Institute of Technology. The company is providing its ColorQuick closed-loop color control system to accompany RIT’s new Heidelberg Sunday 2000 press, currently being installed at the school’s Rochester, NY campus.
The ColorQuick system measures a color control bar on the moving web, automatically driving the press to programmed target density values. It then calculates, reports and stores a full range of print quality characteristics, such as dot gain and print contrast.
