Containers America and Russell-Stanley have announced that the two companies are joining forces. The addition of Russell-Stanley to this group expands the Containers America, LLC steel drum consortium’s manufacturing and logistics capabilities, as well as its geographic coverage throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Containers America is a joint venture of independent steel drum manufacturers comprised of CP Louisiana Inc. of New Orleans, LA; General Steel Drum Corp. of Charlotte, NC; Nesco Container Corp. of St. Louis, MO; North Coast Container Corp. of Cleveland, OH; and Trilla Steel Drum Corporation of Chicago, IL. Russell-Stanley’s participation within the group adds steel drum manufacturing sites in Burlington, Ontario; Houston, TX; and Woodbridge, NJ.
Russell-Stanley’s expanded product line, including plastic drums, will allow the group to compete effectively by serving more of the requirements of national customers.
“Our customers continue to express their desire to deal with a single source, and the addition of Russell-Stanley to Containers America will allow us to meet those demands more effectively,” Dan Miller, president and CEO of Russell-Stanley, said
