Cleveland, OH-based consultancy The Freedonia Group has just released its “Radiation-Cured Products,” a new study analyzing the U.S. radcure industry.
Included in the study are radcure inks, coatings, adhesives and other products as well as raw materials used in the production of radcure products.
Data is reported in pounds and current U.S. dollars going back as far as 1990, and forecasts examine how the market will look in 2005 and 2010.
According to the 262-page study, demand for radcure products in the U.S. is expected to increase 9.4 percent per year, reaching 248 million pounds and $1.6 billion in 2005. Additionally, inks and coatings look to remain the largest product segments in the radcure industry, driven by product development and the continued displacement of conventionally-cured formulations, according to the report.
