The American Plastics Council (APC) has released the 2000 edition of The Resin Review: the Annual Statistical Report of the U.S. Plastics Industry, formerly published by the Society of the Plastics Industry (SPI) as “Facts and Figures of the U.S. Plastics Industry.”
According to APC, the Resin Review, which will be compiled annually from data collected by its Plastics Industry Producers’ Statistics Group and other sources, represents the authoritative source for the most comprehensive set of statistical measurements of the U.S. plastic resin industry. Contained within the 2000 edition are detailed tables on U.S. resin production, sales and captive (internal) use, industry capacities and utilization rate data from 1995-1999 for 15 individual resins.
